La villete began in 1979. The site which covers 35 hectares and was once occupied by the large slaughterhouses of Paris, is situated in the north-east of the old city between porte de pantin and port de la villete, or almost on the boundary with aubervilliers.

The old steel building :
The new fountain in the square center that forming the open space in front of the music academy new building.
The national museum for science.
the gigantic metal sphere, the " Geode" dia. 36 m. as a cinema.

 

Les folies :
These smale buildings are include a bar, exhibition area, shops, information office, etc.
The garden :
It has a v. good function to make week end for the local population.

 


La tour eiffel :
This is a very important steel construction building that make a landmark for all france, it has two squares in front and in the back.
